2026 Maryland Meetup Highlights

What an incredible weekend! July 2026 brought us together for another unforgettable Maryland Meetup filled with great food, fantastic Disney spirit, and even better company. 

Here is a look back at how the magic unfolded:

Thursday: Pizza Icebreaker & Swag Bags

We kicked off opening night at the Knights of Columbus with a pizza icebreaker hosted for over 30 attendees. Everyone picked up their official welcome packets to jumpstart the weekend. A massive thank you to our generous creators for making the swag so special:

Friday: El Guapo’s & Orioles Magic

Friday morning called for our traditional lunch at El Guapo’s. The food and atmosphere were nothing short of magical, made even better by surprise visits from our friends Roberta, Alvin (Go Minnie!), and Kelsey Elizabeth!

That evening, we loaded into a charter bus and headed to Camden Yards to watch the Baltimore Orioles take on the Atlanta Braves. 

We enjoyed the game in style with Club Level seating and an all-you-can-eat feast through the 7th inning.

Saturday: Bowlero Showdown & The Annual Cocktail Party

Saturday afternoon brought high energy for the 3rd Annual Bowling Challenge at Bowlero. Randomly drawn teams went head-to-head for bragging rights and prizes, all while refueling on a fantastic spread of pizza, wings, nachos, and drinks.

By Saturday evening, it was time for our Traditional Cocktail Party, which saw our best turnout yet for Disney Bounding! Highlights included:

Strikes a pose in the Maryland Social Media Corner.

Awarding prizes for bowling achievements and best Disney Bounding, plus a door prize for every attendee!

An extraordinary spread featuring jumbo lump crab deviled eggs, fresh shrimp, Angus cheeseburgers, meatballs, spring rolls, and more.

Sunday: Farewell Brunch at State Fare

We closed out an amazing weekend on Sunday morning with a cocktail brunch at State Fare. The menu was out of this world—ranging from classic scrambled eggs, bacon, and Eggs Benedict to decadent stuffed seafood, shrimp, and Maryland crab cakes. It was the perfect delicious farewell to a wonderful gathering.

Night Owl Bonus: Shoutout to the late-night contingency who gathered in the private room every single evening to keep the conversations, laughs, and hangouts going well into the night!
